3 Tilda's

Not just one but 3 Tilda's from the new collection. I was asked by Janice at SirStampalot if I could make some samples and I really enjoyed making these cards,the magnolia stamps are a joy to work with. I took the cards today and could not resist getting another Tilda, the shop is a little treasure trove of all my favourite things and the service is always with a smile, what more could a girl want.

2nd magnolia challenge

The challenge over on the new just Magnolia site is to make a card using green and pink. So I have dug out my making memories kids collection pad and used the cute Tilda butterfly stamp. I have coloured Tilda with copics and build her up in layers. I also made some little butterflies to go with her.

gorjuss girl

I just had to make a quick card with my new Gorjuss girl stamps that fell through the letter box yesterday. I have coloured my image with copics and used my nesties to make a frame for the image. The papers I have used are from the very large pad that are part of the Claire Curd range. I had to smile when I received the stamps because one is a little girl with her arms crossed and just reminds me of my daughter when she is in a mood, now I will just have to catch her in that pose with my camera and it would make a good scrap page lol.

Stamp with us challenge

Over on stamp with us the challenge is to use browns and I was at first a bit thrown with this one, but I have got to admit it wasn't so bad when I got going.

I would also like to apologise to anyone who reads my blog and that I am sending a bit dizzy with my blog changes, the truth is I can't make up my mind what I want, I am like a kid in a candy shop and keep seeing one I like better and I am that confused myself now that I need to stop lol.

Magnolia first challenge

I could not resist having a go at the new Magnolia challenge because I love the Tilda stamps.I have used my Bobunny papers, these papers are so gorgeous and my camera as not really done them justice. I have coloured my image with copics and glittered the wings. The swirl is a sizzix die and the flowers are punched out. The sketch is lovely and I will definitely use it again.

Penny black challenge

I have been busy today having a go at the Penny Black Challenge and have used this cute mouse stamp who looks in heaven amongst all the cakes. The papers I have used are by Su and are lovely to work with. I have dragged out my daisy punches and made a flower, the star I have hung from the flower is from a pair of cheap earrings. I have also decorate the inside and used a daisy punch and stamped the image again but only used a small part of it.

Mojo Monday

Quick card and post because I am busy making cakes for my stamping up party tonight, I am really looking forward to it. I have used a Bild malarnas stamp and coloured with Su inks and used Su papers. This is for the challenge over on Mojo Monday they are really fun sketches and give you a good starting point.

Quick Birthday card

The challenge over on stamp stamp with us is to make a birthday card, for mine I have used the crazy for cupcakes set and the heat and stick powder. My card colours are pretty in pink and chocolate chip.

Friday sketchers 47

Loved the sketch on Friday sketchers and thought I would have a go using my pink cat studio stamps. I have been stamping all my stamps in a book today so I have a record of what I have got and can quickly find what I am looking for. It is a long job and I am not finished yet but I am covered in ink on my hands. I got a bit fed up with it so I took a break and made a card.

I used pink cat studio stamps,personal impressions swirls and flourishes, xcut punch,around the block paper and copics to colour with.

I just loved this stamp when I first set eyes on it but resisted buying it until I saw it in Sir Stampalot and I had to have it. I have coloured my little guy with prismacolour pencils and used daisy bucket papers. My dad came down today to look after the kids while I was working and kept saying how much he liked it, so I am going to sent it to him for his birthday.

Sketch Saturday 45

I just had to use this cute hedgehog stamp by penny black so I made it into a card for the challenge on Sketch Saturday . I have coloured in with my prismacolours again because I wanted a softer look. The papers are from a very large stack I bought ages ago and the flower is from a market stall. The dots down the side that look like brads are just round domed shapes that I got from a stall at the Nec, they are great as they are light and not bulky.

Wish me luck today it is the twice yearly outing to the dentist today for the family, and with 5 of us it seems to take ages.

I missed it

This is a card I made for the Spoon full of sugar challenge but I missed the date and a new challenge is up. I was pleased with this card though, it was a great sketch and I thought I would put it on my blog anyway. I have used one of the home grown sugar nellie stamps and coloured with prismacolor pencils, the flowers are prima and the papers from a qvc kit I got a while back.

The sun is shining here and I have to spend the afternoon at the garage because we need a new tyre on the car. I am sure the pot holes down our lane are to blame they are the size of a kiddies paddling pool , ok maybe not that big but its like riding a rollercoaster going over them. If they get much bigger we will have kangaroos popping out of them.

Friday Sketchers

The sketch over on Friday sketchers is a lovely layout and I have used my stamps from the greeting farm. I have kept the card very simple as I was trying to go for a clean look, I can get a bit carried away sometimes and slap on too much lol. Now I must go, it is a beautiful day here and much too nice to stay indoors.

Mojo Monday week 80

Two posts in one day all thanks to having to wait for the parcel man, don't you just hate it when you wait in all day and they turn up right at the end of the day.

Anyway I thought I would have a go at Mojo Monday sketch and use my gorjuss girl again. The papers I have used are around the block and no I don't mean literally lol. The sentiment is a Su stamp and the flourishes are from a set by personal impressions.

stamp with us 1st challenge

The 1st challenge over on stamp with us is a sketch so I decided to have a go today because I had to wait in for a parcel to be picked up. For my card I have used the following

Big bold birthday set

cardstock in tempting turquiose,old olive and pixie pink

scallop circle,3 plain circles and scallop border punches

ink pads in tempting turquiose and pixie pink

heat and stick powder and glitter

It was a fun card to make and gave me an excuse to get and my heat and stick powder which I love using. The little set of 3 circles were made from covering a small piece of cardstock in versamark, and using heat and stick to make a small piece of glitter card. I then punched out 3 small circles.

Friday Sketchers

I have been having a go at the sketch on Friday sketchers and I have used one of the new greeting farm stamps. She is coloured with copics, and I have glittered her wings to make her sparkle. I used my nestabilities to create the frame and used glitter again, my trusty side kick teddy also got glittered because he hangs around my desk so much lol.
