Sketch Saturday

Cannot believe it is Saturday again the week has gone so fast, and another card done for the challenge on sketch Saturday

I have used a Sara Kay stamp for this card and coloured with copics again, and the papers are from my stash pile , I have also stitched and distressed the edges.

Thankyou for comments and sorry if I have not got to your blogs this week but I have had a busy week and blogging has kind of been last on list. I have started a new job and now work for the lovely Janice and Andy at Sir stampalot and they have made me feel very welcome and I cannot believe I am working in my favourite shop. I did my first workshop last night and want to thank the lovely ladies who came on my class, you made me feel very welcome and soon made me feel relaxed and less nervous, you was all fabulous.
On a sadder note I work my last shift today at my old job and although I am exciting to be moving on to new challenges I am sad to say goodbye to my work colleagues that have become friends, we have shared some good laughs, a few tears, being too hot, too cold (lol )and fits of giggles, so thankyou ladies and big hugs and love from me I will miss you all.

Just a quickie that I had forgot I had not put on, this is a Sara Kay stamp and such a jolly fella. I have used copics to colour and got my cuttlebug out for the background.
Must go to bed now or I will regret staying up in the morning, night night.

Sketch Saturday 77

Great sketch again this week on Sketch Saturday and gave me a chance to play with my new stamp. I fell in love with these cute characters when I saw them and just had to have them lol. I have teamed them up with basic grey papers and used some buttons from my button box.

Thought I would just pop on a card that I did for Sir stampalot using the new Sara Kay stamps. I love this stamp and have used my copics to colour her and also decoupaged her hat a little. My trustie Martha Stewart punch came out again and the sentiment is from a woodware set.
Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday, I am going to Lincoln because daughter is in a cheerleading competition, so no lazy Sunday for me this week.

Sketch Saturday 77

Another week gone, I cannot believe how fast the weeks are going and I still do not have many Christmas cards ready, but I can add this one to the small pile. The sketch over on Sketch Saturday is a fab one and I enjoyed using it. I have finally used my mice stamps and coloured with copics and the snowflakes are made with nesties. I got the paper at the Nec and now wish I had got more because it is lovely.

Now it is time to tackle my ironing, it was great going to the Nec for a few days but I am still playing catch up lol.

sara Kay

I thought I would put this Christmas card on my blog because I was pleased with how it turned out because I do not do vellum usually. I have stuck it down with double sided tape then gone over it again with more tape and glittered it and it turned out ok. The image is a Sara Kay stamp and coloured with copics and I even used a little flower soft too. I did use a patterned paper underneath but heaven knows why because you can hardly see it lol. I keep seeing everyones Christmas cards and I am now thinking I will never get mine done in time, I need a Christmas fairy to come and help me.

Hello and if this post is here on saturday I have managed to set it to come on auto, I am at the nec this weekend demonstrating for Sirstampalot and will be busy colouring away with my copics. This is my card for Sketch saturday and I loved this sketch it was so lovely to use and I know I will use it again.

What I have used;
magnolia papers
copics
Martha stewart punch
brads and ribbon
I have used circle punches in different sizes to make my litle flowers and I have also got out my machine and I did a bit of sewing.

Have a nice weekend and if your at the Nec stop and say hello.

Well it did not work it is Sunday now and I am just putting this post on so I am a day late with the challenge post and back fron the nec. I am tired but had a fab time and now off to put feet up and have a cuppa.

Crafty Calendar challenge 2

I cannot believe a month has gone and we are onto the next challenge at crafty calendar challenge, and this month it is to incorporate weather and pearls is the optional extra. I have had to borrow this stamp from my crafting buddy Sara and it is a really cute stamp, so thankyou Sara. I have kept my card very simple in the layout and used my fav colours, I was very tempted to put something in top corner but told myself to back away from the card and leave it as it was lol.
Now I have to dash it is 5.30 in the morning here(never usually see this 5.30 in the morning lol) and I am off to nec, shopping today and demoing at weekend so if your there say Hi, I will be at the Sir Stampalot stand.

Tilda step card

This is the first step card I have made and it was fun but took a while to do, I have used the Tilda stamps from the yummy collection because I love this set and Tilda with spoon is a favourite. It was not a easy card to photograph either and you cannot see the dresser very well in photo. I have coloured the images with copics and the papers are from the magnolia range of papers. I seem to have a bit of a love for green at the moment which is a change for me.
You would never guess how long this post has took to write because I have a very naughty and mischievous puppy playing near my craft desk. Harley my pup keeps pinching things off my desk and running away, I so long for a craft space with a door to shut lol.
