Crafty Calendar Challenge for March

This month on the Crafty calendar challenge you have to use pastel and flowers because spring is on its way (I hope). I decided to decorate a container that I got when I was at the Nec to keep my pens in on my desk. I have used two Bildmalarna stamps called Mimo Roses and Mimosa basket and I chose paler colours to colour them with. The little butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch and the flowers are from my craft box.

Crafty Calendar Challenge

Another month gone and over on Crafty Calendar challenge blog it is time for another challenge. This month your card should show love and friendship, so it can be a valentines card or just for someone special, extra option is to use hearts in your design.

My card is one my hubby liked but I was not so keen but it is growing on me lol. The idea for this card was the base for what I should have done for my Christmas cards but never got round too ( hangs head in shame because I did buy some Christmas cards). So I used the bits I had got ready to turn it in to this card.

For my card I have used nesties, a Martha Stewart punch ,a stamp by Elizabeth bell called 'for someone' and a Rachelle Ann Miller sentiment. I have coloured with copics and have used E00,E11 and R20 for skin, G99,G94 and G21 for the top, E57,E35 and E31 for the trousers and a bit of R29 for the scarf.

Tilda

I had a little time to have a play with one of the new Tilda stamps today which are available at Sir Stampalot and I have gone for a simple clean look for my card (nearly was not due to eating choccie biscuits while making card) I have coloured with copics and used numbers E000, E00, E11 and R20 for face, R22, R27, R29 for red, E31, E35, E57 for hair, C1, C3, C5, C7 and C9 have been used too for trousers, hat and shading round edge.
I have also used a Martha Stewart punch and the little hearts down the side are the waste hearts and I have covered them with glossy accents.
