sara Kay

I thought I would put this Christmas card on my blog because I was pleased with how it turned out because I do not do vellum usually. I have stuck it down with double sided tape then gone over it again with more tape and glittered it and it turned out ok. The image is a Sara Kay stamp and coloured with copics and I even used a little flower soft too. I did use a patterned paper underneath but heaven knows why because you can hardly see it lol. I keep seeing everyones Christmas cards and I am now thinking I will never get mine done in time, I need a Christmas fairy to come and help me.

This is my card for Sketch saturday and I loved this sketch it was so lovely to use and I know I will use it again.

What I have used;

copics
Martha stewart punch

I have used circle punches in different sizes to make my litle flowers and I have also got out my machine and I did a bit of sewing.

Have a nice weekend and if your at the Nec stop and say hello.

Crafty Calendar challenge 2

I cannot believe a month has gone and we are onto the next challenge at crafty calendar challenge, and this month it is to incorporate weather and pearls is the optional extra. I have had to borrow this stamp from my crafting buddy Sara and it is a really cute stamp, so thankyou Sara. I have kept my card very simple in the layout and used my fav colours, I was very tempted to put something in top corner but told myself to back away from the card and leave it as it was lol.
Now I have to dash it is 5.30 in the morning here(never usually see this 5.30 in the morning lol) and I am off to nec, shopping today and demoing at weekend so if your there say Hi, I will be at the Sir Stampalot stand.

Tilda step card

This is the first step card I have made and it was fun but took a while to do, I have used the Tilda stamps from the yummy collection because I love this set and Tilda with spoon is a favourite. It was not a easy card to photograph either and you cannot see the dresser very well in photo. I have coloured the images with copics and the papers are from the magnolia range of papers. I seem to have a bit of a love for green at the moment which is a change for me.
You would never guess how long this post has took to write because I have a very naughty and mischievous puppy playing near my craft desk. Harley my pup keeps pinching things off my desk and running away, I so long for a craft space with a door to shut lol.

Sketch saturday 75

Its time for the Sketch Saturday challenge again and along with the sketch is a Halloween theme, so out with Tilda again, I have never made this many Halloween cards before lol. I have used a lot of stamps on this card and magnolia papers.

I have also made a envelope for the card using my scorepal and made it look a bit distressed and put a skull on it. I did a eyeball first but it looked a bit to much with a cute Tilda stamp.
I will be able to post a few more cards soon, I
have been busy making cards for my demo at Sir stampalot this Saturday and will be able to post them on my blog next week.

Sketch Saturday 74

This is my card for Sketch Saturday this week and it is a lovely sketch to use. I have coloured my image with my copics but got my distress inks out for a bit of inking, boy was my hands in a mess I don't seem to be able to ink without getting it all over my hands lol. I have got to say this card nearly went in the bin because I kept messing it up, at one point my sewing machine put a big hole in it that is why there is a strip of braid on bottom. I really was having a bad card day lol.

Recipe for card:
Basic grey papers from Indian summer pad
Stamp from Kraftin' Kimmie
Martha Stewart punch
copics to colour
distress inks and I was distressed too
