Cherry pie

A quick post today before I head out the door for work. I made this card bit by bit and finally managed to put it all together. The Tilda is a recent purchase and I just think she is lovely and wanted to use her before starting on the latest Christmas ones. The cherry pie recipe is cut from a piece of fabric and it also has gingerbread men on too, I fell in love with a lot of the fabric and luckily was able to buy small pieces.
I must go now but will just tell you that yesterday I spent ages making a decoration for Christmas and then left it on my desk to dry while I fetched the kids from school, when I came back my cute doggy (yes the one at the top of the blog) had demolished it, one doggy was not in my good books I can tell you.

Gold and cream with a hint of red

For the challenge this week on the Allsorts blog you have to use Gold and cream with a hint of red, now I have not found this easy because I rarely use Gold but I was pleased with how the card turned out in the end and was fairly quick to make too, which you sometimes need when making Christmas cards. I have used a Magnolia word stamp for the background and a Sara Kay stamp for the image. Colouring was done with copics and I got my glitter out to bling it all up a bit. The flower is a die and the sprigs a punch, all the items I have used can be found at Sirstampalot.
I would like to say thank you to Allsorts for asking Sirstampalot to be quest designer because I have really enjoyed making the cards.

Spots and Stripes

This week on the Allsorts challenge blog it is spots and stripes so I have used some kaisercraft papers and gone for a different colour for a Christmas card. The stamp is by Penny Black and I have used it a few Christmases now but still love it. I have used my nesties to cut the snowflakes and some tulle for ribbon that I had in my craft box. The image is coloured with copics but was very easy to colour and I have used C1 for shading on snowmen and the scarfs and hats are Bgo9,Bg05,Bg01 and Bg000.

Bingo

The challenge for this week is 'Bingo' and if you go over to the Allsorts challenge blog you will be able to see the bingo card. This was a fun challenge and the line I chose was lace, flowers and tags and I chose to make a notebook. I have used a flower paper by October Afternoon (just love these papers) and the lace is out of that box again. My tag is a flower too and covered with the same paper only the reverse side and the chain is recycled from my sons jeans ( it had the price ticket on). I have used a magnolia stamp and the word stamp is from Sirstampalot and I spotted these when I was looking for another stamp and thought it would be perfect for mini books. The image is coloured with copics and the numbers are;
Face E000, E00, E11, R20
Hair E50,E53,E55
Dress G21,G94,G99
Socks and feather E40
All items I have used are available at Sirstampalot

Take Inspiration from a song title

The challenge this week on the Allsorts challenge blog is to take inspiration from a song title, I have used a penny black stamp called warmest wishes and the song title for it is 'One little Christmas tree'. I have used a small piece of magnolia paper and the rest is plain card, the image is coloured with copics and a little glitter added because its Christmas. All items I have used are available at Sirstampalot.
