Sketch Saturday 88

This week on Sketch Saturday there is a fab sketch and we are sponsored by the Craft Barn this week. I have used Magnolia stamps for my card because I had this little lady coloured in already from when I did my demo at Sir Stampalot. So I had to pick my papers around what I had coloured my image in with and not picking papers first like I normally do. So rummaging through stash I found these daisy bucket papers and thought they went well and makes a change to my normal pinks lol. The flowers were cut out from the paper and I thought they turned out ok and I added a little hand stitching mainly because I did not have time to set up machine.

Going Girly Cupcake craft challenge

On the cupcake craft challenge blog you have to make a girly card this week so I thought I would use my new stamps again and go for the girly look lol. I did have trouble taking this picture because the weather here is horrible and even inside I have lights on and it is so dull looking, roll on spring.
For my card I have used Hero Arts stamp set, magnolia papers, retro punches for flowers and Martha Stewart punch (with teeth marks due to puppy running off with it again). Copics used are hair E31, E35, E57 skin E000, E00, E11, R20 dress V12, V15, V17, Rv000, Rv00, Rv02, the background was done with Y23 and C1 and I used the copic airbrush system to do this with.

Sketch Saturday 84

There is a lovely Sketch over on Sketch Saturday this week and would suit lots of stamps so could not make up my mind lol. This is a stamped image I coloured ages ago and never put on a card. Now I am not sure about this card because the colours are not what I normally use but they seemed to fit with the stamped image, now I know why I normally match my colours to paper first lol. The image is a magnolia stamp and the papers are too, I am still loving these papers. I made the flowers and sprayed with a bit of sparkle.

Crafty Calender challenge for January

Happy New Year everyone and hope you all had a great Christmas. I have ate too much and drank too much lol. This month we have to had a warm feel to the card and texture is optional so I have gone for a summer image of teddy chasing butterfly and the papers are daisy bucket so have texture to them and I love the colours in them. I have made a little tag for sentiment and cut a few flowers from the papers to finish it all off.
