Shabby Sparkle

This week on Cupcake we have the theme 'Shabby Sparkle' so we want to see that on your cards so i have roughed up my edges and added glitter and rhinestones for sparkle.
The prize this week is 4 images of the winners choice from 'Sassy Studio Designs' and do not forget the monthly prize of 4 stamps from Polka doodles still to be won.
I have gone with a lot of Magnolia this week from stamps to die cuts and papers. I love the new smaller size papers that Magnolia are bringing out they are perfect for cards.

Guest Designer Card

I have been asked to be Guest Designer over on the Basic Grey Challenge blog and feel very honoured the work the ladies do is beautiful and I get to join them for two challenges 'Yipee'.

The challenge for this fortnight is a gorgeous sketch and you also need to use a Basic grey item in your card. Now it took me ages to decide on my papers because there is so many lovely ones but I went for 'Sugared' in the end because it went with the image I had coloured. I have gone a bit shabby edged with this card and softer with my colours also.

Notice my stitching around the circle that was definitely a tongue stuck out concentration moment I can tell you but it worked lol.

Reach for the stars

The challenge this week on Cupcake Craft Challenges is to have stars on your creations so I have dug out this stamp that I have had ages but still love.

Pick your favourite challenge

This week on Cupcake the challenge is 'pick your favourite Cupcake challenge' now I have only  been on the this fabulous team for a short while, so it was fun looking back on previous challenges.

I decided to go for number 61 'Going Girly' and use one of my new Lili of the valley stamps.

The prize this week is a £10 voucher to spend at Lili of the Valley and that would not be hard to do with all the gorgeous stamps.

Computer problems and a Molly Blooms card

Hello I am back you probably did not even know I was gone but we have had computer problems. The computer threw a complete hissy fit and refused to work luckily I had already scheduled design team work.
It is still not back but I now have a laptop to work from but I have had to get used to different settings and programmes and got to say I have swore quite a lot this week lol.
On to my card which is using the fab new Molly Blooms stamps that are available at Sir Stampalot,this card is for the shop and was fun to make,just love that tree house.

One layer

Over on cupcake this week the challenge is 'one layer' and the sponsor this week is Simon says stamp and the prize is a $20 gift certificate.

Now for my card I have used a Stampin up set that I got for being a hostess and simply stamped and coloured straight onto to my card.

I have added a little detail with the ribbon and punched border,when I first started this challenge I was a bit worried because I usually add a lot more on cards but got to say I really enjoyed the challenge when I got going and went on and made quite a few cards and now have a little stash of cards to grab quick when needed.I even made a pink version of the same card so now need someone to have a baby lol.

Flower Power

This month on Penny Black at Allsorts we have the theme 'Flower Power' and we have some fab prizes you could win just pop over and have a look you will not be disappointed.

I have Chose this Penny black stamp called 'Words like flowers' to use for a change from cute.

I decided to make a tag this month and get messy with inks, I was not sure where I was going with this because it is not my usual style but I did have fun and that is the main thing with crafting.

The flowers are coloured with distress inks and the background is coloured using them too.
