Music speaks

Here is two cards I have made this weekend that are a bit different for me.
A little while ago I bought two sets of Visible Image stamps because all my kids love music
and I thought that I could do some modern style cards for them.
My daughter plays the piano and my eldest son plays the guitar and my youngest son just loves music, so these seemed perfect.
The stamp sets I used are-

I did the background using a Tim Holtz stencil called Rays and distress inks
The stamped images are embossed with black embossing powder and I love how clear the images are.

Enjoy the small moments

Hi I am back today with a card I made with a Lili of the valley stamp, I coloured the image a while ago in distress inks and then could not decide how to finish card.
I have a few images like this coloured but not made into cards,so I sat down the other afternoon and made a few up into cards. I now have a little stash of cards although I really do need to make some male themed ones.

I would like to enter my card into the challenge at

For a Fintastic friend

Well I have been busy making a few cards and enjoying making them,
I had lost my mojo for card making for a while but my craft corner has had a face lift
after a trip to Ikea and I love it.
So I got crafting and made this card for the challenges at
Cute card Thursday with the theme of 'Summer colours'
and
The cutie pie challenge with here 'come the girls'
I have used a stamp set by CC designs which is a bit of a favourite of mine.
I have coloured the image with copics.
Here is a picture of my new craft corner which is in the family room at the back of our house

I am loving the Alex storage draws and have got all my bits and bobs organised.
I do love Ikea even if it is a bit of a trail from where we live and boy was our card full,
luckily it is a seven seater and we got it all in (after removing most seats)

bye for now

Strawberry bear

Boy it as been so hot this weekend and definitely not the weather for doing the gardening I had hoped to get done.
So a little crafting was in order with a digi stamp I have had for a long while.
The image is a digi stamp which was by Teddy bo but I do not think is available now.
I have coloured the image in with copics and also added glossy accents to the strawberries.
I have gone for a simple card and used up scraps of paper for base and banners.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges -

Izzy's Bunnytime

I have been trying to make a few birthday cards because my basket is nearly empty
but this one was a long process.
I started on Sunday morning but the phone kept ringing and visitors was popping
in and out and ended up finishing it Tuesday morning,
I used a stepper card die for the base card by presscut and the papers where from a stampin up
pad that I won on a raffle and are very pretty.
The image is a stamp by Candibean called Izzy's Bunnytime and coloured with distress inks

I would like to enter my card into the challenge
Di's digi design challenge - dies cuts and or punches
