sara Kay

I thought I would put this Christmas card on my blog because I was pleased with how it turned out because I do not do vellum usually. I have stuck it down with double sided tape then gone over it again with more tape and glittered it and it turned out ok. The image is a Sara Kay stamp and coloured with copics and I even used a little flower soft too. I did use a patterned paper underneath but heaven knows why because you can hardly see it lol. I keep seeing everyones Christmas cards and I am now thinking I will never get mine done in time, I need a Christmas fairy to come and help me.

Louise, I just wanted to say thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving such kindness; it is so thoughtful of you. And what a WONDERFUL blog you have! You are amazing! I really had fun looking at your beautiful creations and you are right to show this card, as it is really awesome. I love how you did the velum - I don't often use velum but if I could do this - wow, I would! Your choice of colors are beautiful, as are those amazing snowflakes glistening so lovely like that. This is a perfect card indeed!

Hi Louise

What a fab creation and love what you ahve done with the vellumn, works really well.

Been to stampalot today and got a few bits and pieces, but did not realise my hubby had done a bit of buying on the side with Janice - when I got home there was a big brown bag on my desk - Copis - the whole set (not the mega expesnive ones of course).

All your fault, I kept harping on about how nicely they coloured compared with the Promparkers.

So tell me (but of a cheek, hope you don't mind), what colours do you use for skin tones as Andy says you might use a mixture of the ciao and sketch pens ?
