Sketch Saturday 82

Well here is my last Christmas card and its feeling blue lol. I Have used the sketch on Sketch Saturday and when I first saw it I thought how can I use it but when I got going I loved it and will use it again. I have made a different shape for a change from square and used a snowman stamp from last year that I still love. The snowmen are coloured with copics and was very quick to do because I used only 3 colours. The circle of snowflakes is a hero arts stamp and I have stamped with frost versamark and embossed, then cut out with my nesties. The papers are from my craft box and not sure who they are by.

Sara Kay again

Another sara kay stamp used here I love these stamps and this is another favourite one. I have coloured her with copics and added flower soft to the bottom of the card to look like snow. The papers are magnolia and the border is made using a martha stewart punch.

Another Christmas card I got finished and have send to a lovely friend who I hope has a fab Christmas. It is Sara Kay stamp I have used but I have only coloured a bit of the image in and I have gone for a girlie pink for this card. Thanks for looking and now must get some breakfast before I head for work.

A quick post

This is a card I made for the demo day at Sir stampalot and I have used a Sara Kay stamp coloured with copics and a dash of glitter. The papers are all magnolia and the holly is a sizzlet die. I am now going for a soak in the bath then it will be time for X factor.

Sketch Saturday

I have used the fab sketch on Sketch Saturday to make a Christmas card because I am way behind lol. The papers are October afternoon and double sided and The snowflakes are a nestie die and a punch. I have coloured my image with copics and added a bit of glitter for sparkle. I am now off to make some mince pies and my daughter wants to make a candle for her teacher.

crafty calendar challenge

The challenge for this month on crafty calendar challenge is a winter theme with a bit of bling added and so I have made a long card for a change and got out my trustie cuttlebug for a bit of embossing. I adore these two robins and have coloured them with my copics and added glitter to the snowflake for the bling.

Advent box

I thought I would put my advent box because I was pleased with how it turned out. The measurements are from the new magnolia magazine and it was fun to make.


The stamped images are all coloured with copics and I have used lots of bits found in my craft box to decorate it with too.

I have made the flowers on the top of the box
with punches and the same papers I have used
on the box, and sprayed them with glimmer mist
but you cannot see that much on the photo.

I have used Tim Holtz hitch fasteners for the draw knobs and I printed the numbers out from my computer. The actual box is a good size and you can get quite a few goodies in each draw, be it sweets or a little pressie.
I am now going to go and watch a movie with the kids I have been busy all morning changing all the beds and then we put up the Christmas decorations. I had a busy day yesterday too demoing for Sirstampalot with 6 other ladies and Wow all of the ladies did beautiful work and are soooo lovely too. The day just flew by and all the customers were so friendly which made the day so enjoyable.

The Sketch on sketch saturday is lovely to use and I have really enjoyed making this card.
The stamps I have used are all magnolia and coloured with copics. I have used the branch to make a background and added a bit of sparkle to the coat.
I am now trying to make a few Christmas cards for the people I know will not forgive me for buying a card lol.

I cant sing if I am in church I have to mime, I am really that bad.

I am a rare blood group and have to carry a card with me at all times.

I had plastic surgery on my face when I was 13 because of a accident.

If you had asked my mum when I was 25 if I would have children she would have said no way but here I am with 3 and would not be without them for the world now.

I hate bare feet and have to wear slippers in the house.

I love guinea pigs but I am allergic to them.
