Advent box

I thought I would put my advent box because I was pleased with how it turned out. The measurements are from the new magnolia magazine and it was fun to make.

The stamped images are all coloured with copics and I have used lots of bits found in my craft box to decorate it with too.

I have made the flowers on the top of the box
with punches and the same papers I have used
on the box, and sprayed them with glimmer mist
but you cannot see that much on the photo.

I have used Tim Holtz hitch fasteners for the draw knobs and I printed the numbers out from my computer. The actual box is a good size and you can get quite a few goodies in each draw, be it sweets or a little pressie.
I am now going to go and watch a movie with the kids I have been busy all morning changing all the beds and then we put up the Christmas decorations. I had a busy day yesterday too demoing for Sirstampalot with 6 other ladies and Wow all of the ladies did beautiful work and are soooo lovely too. The day just flew by and all the customers were so friendly which made the day so enjoyable.

I have a kit waiting to be made up, now I think I might attempt it, with yours for inspriation. It'll look very different though as I don't have any Manolia stamps - yet!

Hi, Louise.. Just found your blog through Smudges, and so glad I have! Your creations are amazing! I wish I had known before the recent demo day at Sir Stampalot.. I was only there for a couple of minutes to see Brenda, but would have come looking for that stunning advent matchbox calendar. Now I DO know, I'll be looking out for you. (I'm a Peterborough lass, so not far away!)

See you next time!

Hugs,
Chris xx

Hi! Just found your blog and absolutely am mesmerized by this advent box from last year! I have looked for the Christmas 2009 Magnolia magazine, but it is not available anywhere that I can find. Is there any possibility you could direct me to the instructions for this box? Would love to make it for my twin granddaughters. Thanks for any help you can offer.
