Scrappy card

Hello again and a card from me that is made from bits of left overs and a greeting farm stamp too. I tend to keep all my scraps in a box at the side of my desk but never get round to using them so I have had a go at using some up, only problem is I would need to make loads of scrappy cards to use all my bits up.
I know have a week off work to spend with the kids because it is half term here and I am looking forward to not rushing around in the morning with school runs and doing pack ups etc. Hope you all have a lovely bank holiday weekend and not too much rain.

Mermaid easel card

I have been using my greeting farms stamps a bit this weekend and this is one of the cards I made using the mermaid stamp. I have used a Marianne design creatable to make the easel and the swirls also came from the same set. The flowers are all made from the Tim Holtz tattered florals die and the big one is not actually stuck on, I just got carried away making them, I have been using tulle with them this time instead of net. Image is coloured with copics and glittered too but it does not show much. All items are available from Sir Stampalot.

Just had to put this photo on here too which I took this weekend of the kids enjoying the pool. Hubby picked this pool up for £30.00 in the middle of winter when snow was on the ground and it was made good use of this weekend by kids and dog. Harley loved riding on the make shift boat and whimpered to get back on when he was put back on the grass.

One for the Girls

Over on the Just Magnolia challenge blog it is 'one for the girls' and so I have made a little box with draws and it is little, I did think it would be bigger when it was finished. I have used one of the new Magnolia stamps and also magnolia papers. The princess is coloured with copics and nesties used to frame the image.

I have made the flowers using cardstock and net curtains that I got from a market stall, I have used the new tim Holtz die to cut the flowers out with and was pleased with how they have turned out and the nets only cost me a £1.00 and I have loads left.

Must go now need to get ready for work, have a good weekend.

Madelynn

A quick post today because do not know what to write my mind is a blank today, had to help daughter with maths homework earlier and I just did not get it so had to send note to teacher asking her to explain how to do it because it is not how I was taught to do it, so not much good in sending it home for me to help, I now feel very old.
For my card I have used:
Greeting farm stamp madelynn
Basic grey papers-kioshi
Leaf punch , flower punch and a border punch
Copics to colour
woodware sentiment from salutations set

A Tree

Well I did not know what else to call this post because its a tree, a hero arts one to be exact and I just really liked it when it came out. A little bit different for me but I enjoyed doing it and as you can see I have a little obsession going on with my deep edge Martha Stewart punch. I have used copics to colour although more for the colour than shading because areas are small. The small tags are made using the Su small tag punch and the matching stamp set and I love this little set.

Bye for now Louise xx

Magnolia challenge

I had a chance to craft more this weekend because the kids did not seem to need the taxi so much lol and I had a go at the challenge over on Just magnolia. You have to use two magnolia images this week so I have used peachy Tilda and the butterfly is a magnolia stamp too. I have used magnolia papers also and coloured with copics. I have also used my Martha Stewart deep punch for the front of the card and punches for the tags.

Thanks for looking

Hugs Louise xx

My Card

It is a beautiful sunny day here, not sure how long it will last after the cold day we had yesterday, even hubby was cold and put the heating back on.
Now you may think my title to this post is odd but last week I had someone who I will not name take a photo of my card and use it on her blog, Brenda has the full story here on her blog if you want to read it. I never mind anyone copying my cards or taking ideas from them, I would not have a blog or put my cards in the shop if I minded but to take a photo and use the card I made is not fair, that is my work. I take a lot of time over my cards, I craft because I love to do it , my cards are by no means spot on but they are my cards.
I made this card the other day and when this stamp first came into the shop I was not too sure about it and even said to Nick that I did not like that one but here it is and I do like it now Nick lol. I have used my copics to colour with and the small flower is one of the new magnolia flowers. The card is blinged up but that is not easy to photograph, I do find the photo bit hard I have been running all over the house and garden to find best spot my family thing I am mad and even the dogs give me odd looks.
Well bye for now and I am hoping to get time to play today and maybe a little tomorrow (it is my birthday tomorrow so a girls got to give the housework and boring stuff a miss on her birthday)
