Another Christmas card to show this one is made using the large sizzix scallop die and nesties to, the lace border is made from Martha Stewarts doily punch. The image is coloured with copics and a bit of glitter added for sparkle.

I have another 3 days to work this week but all the rest of the family have finished for Christmas now but the house is clean and presents wrapped so I am up to date at last. My eldest had is big toenail removed on Friday because of a ingrowing toe nail and the doctor said it was one of the worst he had seen, he has had problems since he had a extra bone removed from his toe when he was younger. I felt so sorry for him though ,I was allowed to go in with him and he was in a lot of pain when they did it so much that he bit my hand so hard I thought I would need treating. It is so horrid to see your children in pain and not be able to help but he is fine now and no pain at all.

A Christmas card

Over on the Just Magnolia blog this week the challenge is a simple one for a Christmas card. This card is made using nearly all magnolia stamps and papers too. The image is coloured with copics and pearls and glitter added too, got to say the card looks better in real life than photo and you can also see that it is a frame card which doesn't show too well on photo.

Christmas again

Hope you are all having a relaxing Sunday we are getting ready soon for my friends christening we are going to be godparents to little Abbie May and so looking forward to it. I am still having trouble with my back and just when I do not need it with so much to do but I am thankful for pain killers and hubby pulling me out of bed in morning lol.

I have used my scallop punch for the sentiment and stuck it on the back of the card and taken a bite out of the front of the card ( with punch not teeth lol) for a different look.
Well must go and try and do something with my hair and face so I look presentable enjoy the rest of Sunday what ever you may be doing.

Just a quick post

Hello just a quick post because I have hurt my back and cannot sit at the computer for long but thought I would post a card that I did for the demo day at Sir Stampalot and coloured with copics. I am feeling a little sorry for myself because I have lots I want to do but cannot get on with but hopefully pills from doctors will kick and start to ease pain.

Anything goes

Hello and I am back did you miss me or not even notice I was AWOL lol. I have been busy getting ready for the demo that we had on Saturday so not had spare time for blog but I can now put the cards on my blog that I have made so will be posting a bit more often.

I have missed doing the Just Magnolia challenges because I love Tilda and Edwin so when I looked and the challenge is anything goes with sparkle if you like, I thought I would put this card on. I have used one of the new Tilda's, she is gorgeous and coloured her with my copics and I got out my sewing machine for the stitching, now my sewing machine rarely sees fabric and my daughter told my mum ( who was altering her school trousers because she does it much better than me) that mummy hates sewing and hits the sewing machine when it goes wrong Whoops did not know she had seen me.

Thanks for looking Louise xx
