Make your own backing papers

This week at Cupcake craft we had to make our own backing paper and I was a bit unsure what to do for this challenge, but the lovely Kim Reygate came to my aid and showed me a great way of completely changing a piece of white card.
I have used acrylic paint dabber in pearl which is put on using cling film and then using the new Tim Holtz inkpads (winter collection) I have used a blending tool to add the colour. I have then stamped over with a large stampin up stamp that I have had for a long while. The card is very different for me but was fun to do so thanks Kim for showing me.
The sponsor this week is Simon says stamp and is a $20 gift voucher and we have our monthly sponsor which is Polka Doodles and two winners will receive Pretty sweet Cds.
