I have been playing with the fairies today and this is one of the new Crafter's Companion stamp sets, and boy did it take a long while to colour in. I have used distress inks and highlighted with sakura pens. The card is Su cardstock and I have used Su ink around card edges, the ribbon is also Su, I so love how the Su range all matches.
Yesterday I went with two friends to Alan and Barry's craft studio and watched how they film their show. We then sat and made cards in their craft room. They were really lovely and all the staff too. We also called at my favourite shop Sir Stampalot because my friend needed some bits and that is where I got the fairy from. I have been to 2 craft shops this week because hubby took me to another one today (been feeling a bit low and he wanted to cheer me up). Today I got some lovely papers and some ribbon ( a girl can never have to much ribbon) but my hubby was shaking is head when I picked it up lol. It is a bit of a standing joke at work that if you need ribbon you just need to go to Louise's. I just love the stuff but the funny thing is that nine times out of ten I still end up using the plain ribbon rather than the fancy stuff.
