Madelynn

A quick post today because do not know what to write my mind is a blank today, had to help daughter with maths homework earlier and I just did not get it so had to send note to teacher asking her to explain how to do it because it is not how I was taught to do it, so not much good in sending it home for me to help, I now feel very old.
For my card I have used:
Greeting farm stamp madelynn
Basic grey papers-kioshi
Leaf punch , flower punch and a border punch
Copics to colour
woodware sentiment from salutations set

Morning Louise

Maths homework is the worse and yes, they have changed how they teach it which makes it almost impossible to help them somtimes.

Your card is gorgeous, the colouring brilliant and those flowers - tell all, how did you make them ?

Hi Louise, your card is gorgeous, I love those blue & grey colours. The flowers are fab. Don't talk to me about maths homework - It gets me so frustrated, why do they make it so hard to work out?
Hope you ok.

wow your card is gorgeous. The flowers are fab. Don't worry too much about the maths homework,as other people say they teach it so different to how we had it at school and it isn't always straightforward. The teacher will have appreciated you talking to her rather than just leaving it like some parents would have!

This card is sooo lovely. Just love the image and the colours and those flowers are fab. Know what you mean about maths homework, I too regularly go in to ask for help and examples and I am a TA at the school! But why don't they teach them how we were taught so much easier. Luv Nicky xx

Oh I'm so glad it's not just me - it just doesn't seem straightforward anymore - they ask the question in such a roundabout way ie find the product why don't they just say multiply !!! That aside your card is a visual treat, but that is no surprise - just stunning, fabulous detail as always - loving the doily effect, very pretty - B xxx

Hi Louise

A beautiful card - in gorgeous colours.

Great flowers and I love all the little pearls.

Don't feel old with regards the maths homework. They have just made it all far to complicated now!! You will have the teacher sending you homework to do too if you aren't careful !! LOL!!!

Love Jules xx

Hi Louise, Wow this is beautiful! I love the colours and the flowers are gorgeous.

We frequently have problems with Chloe's maths homework and she is only 10. Heaven help us as she gets older lol! To me it all seems very complicated. The way we were taught was much easier. I think the saying goes 'If it's not broke don't try to fix it'.
